	I had a bit of a problem with typing in the names of cities and getting credit if the name had more than the city. "Chicago" should not be good for O'Hare, "Paris" should not be good for Charles de Gaulle, etc. I think the only one where a city name wasn't good enough was for JFK.

	I think this would be far more challenging if one had to stick to the actual airport name, as opposed to just typing the city name.

	Airport name would be too hard. Some of them are really obscure. The quiz would be better if the county clue was removed.

	@Cuthbert Twilley: Isn't that the point? To show you actually know the airports, not just "type in largest cities." You shouldn't get credit for the airport in Bangkok unless you know its name. Hell, I don't think "London" should get you London Heathrow, or "Atlanta" get you Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta.

	Damned Newark being 24th. Got 14, though I think I guessed 8 of the next 10 (21-30). Shouldda gotten Hong Kong... grr.

	@Kevin: I agree with you, at least on cities with multiple airports, but most airports are known by the city name, even if they have another name. Do you think it's reasonable to expect people to know Suvarnabhumi or George Bush Intercontinental?

	While not a perfect solution, given the feedback, we've changed it so that for cities with multiple airports, you need to enter the actual airport, and not just the city (London, Paris, Chicago, Houston)

	16/20 but I think it should have been 18. I typed in Dallas for Dallas-Fort Worth and didn't get credit. I also typed in Houston for George Bush International but didn't get it. Still a good game.

	@Tim Welch: Er, no. According to Reuters, 26.4 million people flew into or out of Paris Orly in the year to March 2008. In 2007, you needed to deal with 33 million passengers in the year to get in the top thirty.

	@Matt8204: `Dallas' shouldn't be accepted for DFW. It's not an airport in Dallas called `Fort Worth'; rather, it's the airport that serves the cities of Dallas and Fort Worth.

	DFW isn't really ever referred to as Dallas - it's not in Dallas, it's between Dallas and Fort Worth. Love Field is closer to Dallas city center than DFW is. As for Houston, I personally think Intercontinental should work, since that's what most people from the area call it - that used to be the name before it was renamed George Bush (just joking - I'm not really expecting anyone to change it). I'm not positive, but I believe Hobby is closer to Houston's city center than IAH. If I remember correctly, IAH didn't used to be in the city limits of Houston either. I think it was a good decision to require the names for those locations that have two airports.

	Also, Tokyo has more than one airport. Confusingly, Tokyo International (aka Tokyo Haneda; IATA HND) handles mostly domestic traffic; Narita International Airport (aka Tokyo Narita, formerly known as New Tokyo International Airport; IATA NRT) handles most of Tokyo's international traffic.

	I live in Houston, and NO ONE calls it George Bush Intercontinental Airport. NO ONE! We call it Bush. Plain and simple. Be reasonable. It's just stupid to have to put George on there. Besides, it's only been that for about 15 years. Before that it was just Intercontinental, and a lot of Houstonians still call it that.

	I think the airport codes should count. I fly frequently and I always think of my destination by the airport code. I tried ORD for Chicago AND Chicago but it wants the whole name of the airport spelled out? There is a time limit you know.

	It's a shame that this quiz seems to have turned into a complete trainwreck, if you'll pardon the mixed metaphor. On the face of it, it's a really good idea but it seems to be impossible to make the quiz to everyone's liking. :-(

	singapore is a big airport because many flights need to stop there for connectors. i cant believe there is no miami/rio de janeiro on this list.

	@zack: If you follow the link to Airports.org, Miami is 28th. There's not a huge difference between 30th place (London Gatwick, 20.1M passengers) and 20th (Singapore, 21.9M) but Rio is way, way behind -- only 10.4M passengers in 2007. And that's comparing the whole of 2007 for Rio with 2008 to date for Singapore and Gatwick.
