I totally misunderstood this quiz as I was trying to think of movies with actual bodies of water in the names such as "Pirates of the Caribbean," "South Pacific," and "Death on the Nile".

umm, last time I checked, the word "water" wasn't the name of a body of water. just saying.

There are enough movies with actual bodies of water to not have "water" count as one. For example, movies like "Beyond the Sea," "The Deep End of the Ocean," and "Pearl Harbor" could have been included instead.

I kept thinking rain man should be on it, but then I realized that it is body of water and not precipitation. I need to go back to middle school earth science.

This was great! I really enjoyed it, although I missed the second Kirk Douglas film because I always just think of it as a Tom Burlinson film. :o( I agree -- another quiz of movies with actual bodies of water in the title (Pacific, Atlantic, etc.) would also be fun.

If you are going to have Waterworld as an answer, you should probably have The Weight of Water as an answer as well.

"Up the Creek" with Tim Matheson is an all time classic...wait...is a creek a body of water? Does any movie with Tim Matheson count as a classic? Never mind, I withdraw my comment ;).

The Waterboy is NOT a body of water. I will mention a classic called "Creature from the black lagoon" however.

@YankeesJets2310 I stand corrected. I was being silly when I typed that. And I too typed in "Creature from the Black Lagoon" and was suprised it didn't pop up...however, that movie triggered "Swamp Thing" in my over-sporcled little brain.

Water IS a body of water - well it can be. I can think of several lakes (in England) that are named "Water" instead of lake, Derwent Water (Cumbria) and Virginia Water (Surrey) are a couple of well known ones.

Although, I agree the misuse of "water" as a body of water dampens the quality of this quiz (no pun intended), the most egregious error here is the inclusion of so many terrible movies including Lakeview Terrace, Dark Water, and The Lake House.

Would have been 5 balls, but had to mark down for a lot of the answers not fitting the title. Still gave it a 4 rating.
