I would have had more time to type in further answers, but I had to artistically frame my face with my arms after each correct answer.

Things I have learned today: It's very hard to type the correct spelling of "Katharine" while wearing a Marie Antoinette wig

marlon brando and james dean...that's all I got. Marlon Brando is like 5 times as vogue-worthy as everyone else, though.

doesnt she say Jimmy Dean in the song? I type that in and it didn't accept. Got it anyway though after much frowning.

@Jimmy no, Jimmy Dean makes sausages. He is connected with this quiz in some way though, in that his products were the primary reason Brando was much less a candidate for this list in his later years.

@Jimmy She does say Jimmy Dean, but it's asking for the celebrity, not the lyrics.

your thinking of "rock on" by David Essex, covered by many, for the "jimmy dean" reference...

Before opening the link to this quiz I was convinced it would be a list of all celebrities who were ever on the cover of Vogue. Which would be an awesome quiz, but this one was fun too!

Judging from this test, either Madonna's pronounciation was a mess or the prosody did not allow full pronounciation. For years I thought the song said "Greta Garbo, Anna Roe" and thought who on Earth Anna Roe was. And I clearly heard she said "Jamie Dean", but whatta heck...I know the guys name. I could not remember anybody after Ginger Rogers, a 10/16

couldn't for the life of me remember the last names of 'Lana' and 'Lauren'! But I sure did better than I thought I would, thanks to the fact that it filled in both Gene and Grace Kelly when I typed their last name in :)

I cued the song up on iTunes....maybe that's cheating. But even if you know the lyrics, this quiz is not that simple because you have to know some last names that she doesn't say. Good quiz!

14/16, I missed Turner and Hepburn, loved the song and even sang it, but always stumped before "Bette Davis, we love you, Ladies with an attitude, fellows that were in the mood, don't just stand there lets go to it, strike a pose theres nothing to it".

All this time I thought it was lauren, catherine, vanna too - and I always thought it that Vanna White didn't really belong in that company. Thanks for clearing that up sporcle!

It always bugged me that Joe DiMaggio is mentioned. It's all glamourous movie stars, and they throw in oogy old Joltin' Joe. Weird.

Funny how the three most missed are those whose last names aren't in the song. Great quiz. Great song.

13/16, but thats only because she doesn't say the last names of three of them so i had no clue. Whats important to me is remembering the lyrics, and the dance for that matter.
