Surprised Altered Beast has such a low percentage considering it came with Genesis.

wow - I wish I would've figured out the picture-enlarge before taking the quiz. I could hardly see the photos otherwise. What an awesome quiz!

@kania ... This is probably an unfounded attack, but if you're going to put forth the extra effort of italicizing a word for emphasis, it's DEFINITELY a good idea to spell the word correctly. =/

...I feel dumb on a couple of them though. I couldn't remember the name "Rampage" to save my life! I LOVED that game! I also kept thinking Out Run was Rad Racer...which was always pretty fun until you crashed, then stamped your feet on the floor because it takes so damn long to put you back on track. . .

clever little enlargements. and interesting that 3 have spawned future franchises and are still going. (L.O.Z.; SF and S.M.B.). and by putting in my comment here i'm showing my age!

Its about time that there was a new Gauntlet game. The only game I can remember where you had to play Tag!

Oh my God! This is awesome! I remember playing crappy versions of these on my Spectrum ZX 48K! They took 15 minutes to load and then crashed intermittently! Gauntlet was amazing for it's time.If ever a game was screaming for a sequel, it's this..you could probably manage a game based solely on my favourite - Dizzy the Egg, and all his family!

I found that quiz difficult because so many of those games had endless copies that I only remembered the names of the copies I played and not the originals.

awesome quiz, will definitely share around. Thanks for the hovery-expandy thing, helped with a couple of them. I do have to say I never saw and don't recall Pengo, but the rest I at least recognize. Would love a second one.

Man, that was great. That was... that was f***ing great. There were a few that I had no business not getting, but simply brain-farted on the titles- "Defender", "Out Run", "Missile Command". Still, my 21 certainly wasn't bad. This is definitely one of my new favorites.

Dragon's Lair was the worst quarter hog I ever saw. Never understood people who poured quarters down that pit. Double Dragon man all the way...great quiz.

I cannot belive that I pumped an untold number of quarters into these machines and could only remember a handful of their names. Great quiz.
