	WOO! I'm a big fan of this one- the Sporcle gods actually added a few that fit in extremely well. Though "King's Quest" needs an apostrophe, I think this game is about as good as it could be. I hope everyone has fun.

	16charac (great name): I actually did think of "Carmen Sandiego", but I tried to shy away from series that started with one developer before moving to another after its prime (a couple of other examples being "Spyro" and "Crash Bandicoot"). Kinskey: Is every quiz on the site incredible? No. Are all of mine? No. But I (and others) spend many hours toiling away at these things. We don't get paid, and we don't get prestige- we do it because it's something we enjoy doing for a site we believe in. If you don't want to partake in a quiz, you don't have to, but that was an unnecessary comment.

	Jesus: Infinity Ward and Treyarch are subsidiaries of Activision. Activision owns those companies, but they're the development studios, not Activision. (In the same sense, they also own the "Tony Hawk" developers, while a couple of developers listed above are owned by Sony.)

	JFX: I think it's you who needs to learn the difference between developer and publisher. Burnout is not made by Acclaim. Acclaim was the publisher before they closed down in 2004 and EA picked up publishing. The game has always been developed by Criterion Games. Again, Lego Star Wars was published by Eidos and LucasArts. It was developed by Traveler's Tales.

	I assumed when I got Civilization that you were going by the developer of the exact title listed, so when sequels were done by another developer that wouldn't count. If you're avoiding series that changed developers, Civilization has been at Firaxis for the last two iterations. As a series, at this point Firaxis is probably as good an answer as MicroProse. It might be helpful to have a hint as to whether you're listing series or specific games. For specific games, you could then include Fallout (Black Isle, pub. Interplay) without having a doubled answer to The Elder Scrolls, as well as others like Carmen Sandiego without much issue.

	Kicking222, great quiz, but I have to take issue with the answer for MGS. Yes, Kojima has been the development head for almost every MG/MGS game, but Kojima Productions didn't exist until 2005. The majority of the series from the beginning until 2005 was developed in-house by Konami, with only the most recent titles being branded as "Kojima Productions" developments. I know you were trying to squeeze another company in, but I just don't think it works/is fair, especially with your above noted stance on series' like Crash Bandicoot which changed developers.

	DWolf: You're right. "Civ" is actually one of the ones the admins added in, and though I like having it in there, I should have caught that issue. (Aside: Sid Meier once spoke at my college via videophone. It was pretty cool.) Guy: You're also right, and that one is completely my bad. I'm not sure there's anything we can do about "MGS", aside from either putting in a completely different game (which I don't think should be done) or letting "Konami" be acceptable for two answers (I don't know if this should or should not be done, but I think it would be more tolerable than a completely different answer). I've emailed the Sporcle gods about both issues.

	If you won't accept Activision for CoD because Activision only owns the developers, the game should at least accept Activision for Tony Hawk because they developed an N-Gage port of Tony Hawk. It's from Wikipedia so it might be wrong... though I may be just bitter that I got 2 questions wrong when I knew the answer >

	Cyph: While you may be correct (I couldn't possibly tell you, but if Wikipedia says so, there's at least a 90% chance it's true), this is a focus on the main developers. A lot of these games have had ports done by other companies, or portable versions by portable-specific studios (i.e. High Impact Games developing PSP "Ratchet" games). I think that should perhaps be noted above the quiz- I believe that, when originally submitting a quiz, I did make note of that, though I can't remember for sure. And in case anyone cares, the above concerns mentioned by DWolf and guyleguy have been resolved.

	Wow I can not believe the ones I missed. Great quiz, though. Some are pretty obscure though. You should add(as bonuses at least) Lucasarts, Bioware and Clover(though they might be a division of capcom?) Maybe Activision, since that's the name that's on Guitar Hero..though I don't think they're the developers, maybe just the guys who own whatever company actually did develop it...

	EverQuest was NOT developed by Sony Online Entertainment. SOE published the game, and later acquired the developer - Verant Interactive - so only one logo is now displayed by the game, but SOE did NOT publish EverQuest.

	I could point out Ubisoft Montreal is technically the developer of Splinter Cell and not Ubisoft Entertainment but I won't ;) Sure, we could pick apart every little thing and want all of our favorite companies to be included but it's still a fun quiz. Keep the video game quizzes coming, thanks :)

	Wow, I know I'd have remembered more of these if game title sequences started with the developers and not the publishers. Which I suppose is the point, really. Also, for GTA it should really be the Scottish company Rockstar North, and Big Blue Box for Fable - but as with Psyd's comment, they're both satellite organisations of the publisher. Meh.

	I can't believe I didn't get EA, Rockstar, or Sega. I should've just tried listing some without looking at the games for those. I'm a bit surprised more people didn't get Insomniac, but I guess I'm more into platformers than most others. PopCap for the win!

	I really should know who developed Myst, it's a fantastic series for logic puzzle adventure gaming. But I tried Cryo, knowing that's not it, but it was something similar. sigh I let down my once favorite genre. And it doesn't surprise me it is the least guessed, despite Myst being the most sold adventure game of all time, I think.
