We should have at least one new justice (to replace Stevens) within the next four years, and very well may get a second one (to replace Ginsburg). Having selected Cass Sunstein for the OIRA in the OMB gives me some reason to hope that Pres. Obama is not going to select far left individuals to replace those two and will instead select mainstream liberals. Although, I suppose it doesn't really matter since Stevens and Ginsburg are the most left wing members of the Court as it is (basically the counterweights to Thomas and Scalia).

Oh, and I nominate the Sporcle creators to fill Souter's seat.

The quiz should be changed to accept first and last names instead of needing the middle names on some of them.

I don't think this quiz is accurate, since Souter remains on the court until the moment Sotomayor is sworn in, which hasn't happened yet.

Why isn't there a description on the home page, just the icon and Game Title? For all other games (except for "also") there is a description.

I saw Sotomayor and for a minute thought, wow, I need to pay more attention to the news! Then I discovered that she was just confirmed today. Thanks for keeping me informed Sporcle!

Why did the quiz disappear from the main page? It is on the history page, though. I know is has not been taken back because it is listed as published.

maybe when they updated it for the new addition they messed it up or something. It'll probably be back soon.

They don't usually re-post quizzes when they're updated. It was probably posted as a new quiz as a mistake when it was updated. It's now just the "featured" quiz on the homepage.

Cripes, how could I miss Sotomayor? And on that topic, isn't it nice how the march of history draws a soothing veil over the hysterical yapping that follows every SC candidate's confirmation? Yesterday a dangerous activist judge, today forgotten.

Has Stevens resigned already (it is August 5, 2010 today)? I thought Kagan was only confirmed today! Aren't you giving Justice Stevens the bum's rush?

Great quiz, but it should be one or two minutes, not three.
