Such a great game. Is it not sad that today's PC police would never let such a game be made? These names are pure genius.

4 minutes is WAAAAAAY too long for this game. Finished in 24 seconds. Maybe a minute or a minute and a half?

I shouldn't even take this quiz, seeing as I've never actually played this game. At least I got Tyson, which some people were inexplicably unable to do.

@rondo: Actually, they're making a sequel on the Wii right now, and as far as I know they'll be using the same line up of boxers. (Besides Mike Tyson, of course.)

Idran: Only a few boxers have been announced IIRC, so I'm not sure how many will be making a return, especially ones like Great Tiger and Piston Honda. Quiz was far too easy for a NES Junkie like me, though. Tried to get a bonus point for Doc Louis.

@Idran Actually it will NOT be the same lineup of boxers. Already confirmed are Glass Joe, Disco Kid, Don Flamenco, Bear Hugger, King Hippo and Von Kaiser. Many of the boxers from the NES game will appear but it won't be the exact lineup

I just bought this a couple of weeks ago. I missed only Mr. Sandman, because I keep losing to Soda Popinski.

Love this quiz. The only suggestion I might make is accepting their last name as acceptable. I understand that a certain quality is lost by not requiring "Piston" for "Piston Honda," but full names are rarely required on these quizzes.

Great quiz. I was obsessed with this game. In fact, I was so obsessed that I beat the entire game without getting punched once and about ten people on my college dorm floor witnessed it. I am such a loser.

Surprised Super Macho Man is 2nd from the bottom. He's been in every Punch-Out game made, and his name is easy to remember and spell.

I submitted the idea for this a couple of months ago, and was beginning to think I wasn't ever going to see this quiz be created. Glad to see it on here today.

Finished in 17 seconds. This was my all-time favorite video game. Haven't had a system since the NES and literally haven't played anything else in 12 years. I still bust it out every now and then. Great memories.

One of the greatest games ever. By the way, for anyone that wants to play it go to nescafeweb.com and you can play any old NES game for free. Not quite the same using the keyboard instead of trusty old A and B but still fun. And the old Tyson code works there too!
