Good quiz... the numbers show that only about half of the answers are guessed correctly by the takers

As far as rocks go, the third one is far superior to the 30th. Kudos for including it.

@GPS: Sporcle never cares about apostrophes. It eliminates them from your answer. Are you entering the answers in Word then copying them to the answer sheet? If so, it's possible you apostrophe is changed to a smart quote which is NOT eliminated.

Some of the pics are kind of small and grainy. If I could make out the faces of the Heroes one, I would have guessed it. I had no idea that was Hayden Panettiere in the front. I guessed it was a TNT drama like The Closer or Saving Grace.

Battlestar Galactica. 14.9%. figures... No accounting for taste. And in point of fact, 30 rock > third rock. 24/24, and I've only ever seen an episode of 10 of those shows.

@bostnboy3 - because if the site was only frequented by Americans the average scores in the geography quizzes would plummet.

@zertrudetrout: Simple unambiguous Queen's English should suffice. However, before answering, please remember that the UK is the home of Coronation Street, East Enders, My Hero, Are You Being Served and The Black and White Minstrel Show. And that this is the nation that has kept John & Edward in X Factor.

Coronation Street is unarguably the finest soap opera ever made, 40-odd years down the line and still great. Perhaps the northern humour is lost on you. Equally Are You Being Served was a hugely enjoyable farce. I am proud to say I have no idea who John and Edward are. But seriously, Ugly Betty? Honestly? Re: the above post, gash is a colloquialism for a part of a woman's anatomy, I'm sure even you can work out which.

How is Remington Steele is so low - I never even watched it but the answer is right in the picture! I think I guessed just about every other space show ever made except Battlestar Galactica for that one, which is odd since that has even been a tv show twice. Doh!

24/24. It helps that the picture from Remington Steele has "Remington Steele" partially visible in the background.

Who would ever pick England over the United States to live? The U.S. is overwhelmingly the place to be. Ahhh...to be a military veteran white American male! Wouldn't want to be anything else.

Really disappointed with the numbers for Battlestar Galactica. It's a ridiculously well-made show (I'd venture to say it's even the best on this list). Too bad people see Sci-Fi and get turned off =(

I've never heard of The Mentalist, Curb Your Enthusiasm, or Remington Steele before. Ever. :P
The rest I sort of knew, or at least have heard of before. I don't like or watch a single one of these shows though, except for Cheers (although I don't watch it anymore).
