	20/20, but I was really surprised that the Chicago Sun-Times wasn't on this. I think if you took out the city names it would be too hard. You still have to know the name of the paper and I doubt I would have gotten some of these without the city name as a clue.

	Technically the word Cleveland is not in the title of the Plain Dealer. You should not have to type it. I wouldn't say anything except that for the Daily News doesn't require you to type New York.

	Good quiz, Booger is insane because most of these have different names anyway. If you didn't have the city names, there would really be no chance other than to guess at random cities and pick their major papers.

	ElDavo: If the quiz was "Name the papers in these cities" I would agree with you. But we are supposed to try to name the "Top 20 Newspapers in the U.S." Including the cities gives away the need to guess which 20 those are.

	I must go with Booger on this one. Even if you don't know the papers in each city, is it so hard to guess Times, Post, Chronicle, Daily News, etc. after the names of cities? Sure, this doesn't cover all of them, but it does cover a number of them. I'm new to this website, but that is my two cents.

	I think some of you aren't sure who's arguing for what. But anyway, I think removing the city names would make the quiz needlessly hard.

	wierd that it took "LA Times" and "NY Times", but I had to spell out "San Francisco Chronicle". Good quiz, though.

	I forgot US Today too! embarrassing. I was surprised how many of these were nearly sub-conscious given the city name... the names of these papers are practically ingrained knowledge, just from hearing them in pop-culture.

	Tesa, newspaper circulations are determined by an outfit called the Audit Bureau for Circulations (ABC in the journalism world). They're almost certainly the source for this quiz, but I'm guessing the numbers are out-of-date since the city they used for USAT is ten years incorrect.

	I agree with zinc... I live in Colorado and must have typed Denver Post a half-dozen times. Even threw in the defunct 'Rocky Mountain News' a couple of times just in case.

	I'm from Long Island originally and never referred to our newspaper as Long Island Newsday. It is just Newsday.
