Shouldn't it take "Rainbow 6" for Rainbow Six?

Red Storm Rising was his best work. Eerie how well he predicted what modern warfare would be like in 1986.

I'm reading through all of his work now. The last one I read was Clear and Present Danger and so far my favourite was The Cardinal of the Kremlin.

Isn't there another whole series of books not included here? Aren't these just the Jack Ryan books?

Mike, I know that Red Storm Rising at least is not a Jack Ryan book, don't know re: the others.

@ Mike: SSN and Red Storm Rising aren't in the Jack Ryan Series, the rest are. I suppose this are only his major works, as it doesn't cover the OpCenter and Splinter Cell books, which I don't even think he directly wrote.

Ok, was the fact that Barnes and Noble's was advertising Tom Clancy books at the top purposeful? (Because that is how I got a lot of the answers).

You need to add Dead or Alive, published 2010.

The list is of Tom Clancy's work without partnership. He's produced others such as Net Force and Splinter Cell with help.

The books like Op-Center and Net Force that say "Tom Clancy's" (note the apostrophe) were not written by him. It's a marketing move. The books listed here are the only novels he's actually written, and they're a hundred times better than the apostrophe books.

Rainbow Six never directly mentions Jack Ryan neither does without remorse. I love them all but Without Remorse is just freakin intense I never thought I could sweat from reading until I started to read clancy.
