"The Pink Album" should really be accepted for the self-titled disc. Certainly it's what the album was widely known as when I bought it in the mid-90s...

Phil: I can get behind that. I'll see about getting that added.

I got up to 1994 and then spaced. I forgot all the kids' albums.

I honestly did not know a single one of these, and since it says at the top "Can you name the studio albums of They Might Be Giants?," I thought I would make a joke to myself and type "no." Imagine my surprise when that was an answer.

'Bout time. This quiz makes me very happy.

Needs a bonus answer of the next album "Here Comes Science."

Hmm, I love Apollo 18, maybe I should check out one of the gazillion albums since already.

I certainly prefer the strange alternative music over the music made to be sold to Kindergarten teachers so that their students would have some music in their room. There's just something superior to the kids' stuff in their earlier songs, songs about Sargon, Hammurabi, Ashurbanipal, and Gilgamesh.

I guess 'Why does the sun shine' is more of an lp, but shouldn't 'Misc. T' count - it was full length! Thanks for the quiz!

"Here Comes Science" should be added. And then They're supposedly working on a new adult album for 2010. @justaguy and scatmanfan: Complilations are never counted as studio albums, not even by the artist.

Another nudge for "Here Comes Science." And I didn't expect it to count, but "Miscellaneous T" would've been a nice bonus.

here comes science should be added, although I don't have any of their kids albums. ah well. Really want something new from them!

Then: The Earlier years is the first 2 studio albums with assorted b-sides. Also interesting to note that TMBG has offered an updated analysis of "why does the sun shine." song's not as good but the science is more updated.

It turns out 'Malcolm in the Middle Theme Song' and 'James K Polk' were not valid answers.
