Dr. Honeydew isn't enough? That seems cheesy.

I think you should accept 'fozzie' for 'fozzie bear'.

Ralph should also be accepted for the dog. I've never seen it spelled before this quiz.
Nov 11th, 2008 at 03:05 GMT
I agree on fozzie and also for Bunsen, I'd be happy to see one name accepted (first or last).
Dec 3rd, 2008 at 03:37 GMT
Rowlf the Dog predates The Muppet Show and has, to my knowledge, never had his name spelled "Ralph." My father's name is Ralph and I can remember watching Rowlf with him back in the 1960s.
Dec 8th, 2008 at 16:58 GMT
"Floyd" should be enough too, I think.
Dec 18th, 2008 at 00:02 GMT
Ditto on Floyd. Identifying this photo as Floyd clearly indicates a familiarity with the Muppet; typing Sgt. Floyd Pepper seems unnecessary. Also, isn't Link Hogthrob the name of the _character_ in Pigs in Space, and not the name of the Muppet itself?
Feb 20th, 2009 at 23:44 GMT
I agree with scrivener. If "sam" is enough for Sam the Eagle, Floyd should be fine for Floyd. And for that matter, why doesn't Fozzie work? Why do we need to add "Bear"? we know he's a bear.

Animal is the best.
Mar 7th, 2009 at 11:08 GMT
I agree on "Honeydew" and "Floyd". I didn't even know Floyd's full name. Hee, Sgt. Pepper.
Apr 15th, 2009 at 00:20 GMT
"Tyler Hansbrough" should be an acceptable answer for Beaker.
Apr 16th, 2009 at 03:44 GMT
the muppets are awesome, but i couldnt remember some of them
May 10th, 2009 at 15:42 GMT
Ugh, I almost missed Link Hogthrob becuase I just did the Star Wars characters quiz and kept thinking of Jek Porkins....
Jun 6th, 2009 at 23:58 GMT
It wouldn't take just "Floyd" but I type in Bob and it accepts it as "beauregard?"
Jun 8th, 2009 at 13:24 GMT
it's not that easy bein' green :)
Jun 28th, 2009 at 02:19 GMT
i was disappointed the i didn't have to type in Gonzo the Great, as that is technically his full title.
Nov 6th, 2009 at 23:59 GMT
Janice looks like Tiffany "New York" Pollard :P

I think if you are going to have Sgt Floyd Pepper's full name, it would only be fair on the character have Dr Teeth listed by his full name, too. For those not in the know, it is Leon "Doctor" Eltonjohn Dontshoot (The Piano Player); and he is an amalgam of references to famed piano players Dr John, Leon Russell, and Elton John.

What about Uncle Deadly? Or Big Tiny Tallsaddle? ;)

I believe a sequel is in order.

Great quiz. Why? It's limited to "The Muppet Show" and doesn't include that #@QR$ "prawn" and the other annoying junk that's appeared after 1989.
Oct 20th, 2010 at 01:39 GMT
No Pepe No Uncle Deadly Beau but, no George? No Hilda Mildred? I'd love to see a quiz with more muppets...

R.I.P., Jim Henson. You made life better.

Couldn't remember Link's second name! Can't believe I missed Rizzo too!
Jan 20th, 2012 at 13:32 GMT
Notice that Floyd is pink?
Jun 6th, 2012 at 15:06 GMT
I just about went crazy trying to get Bunsen Honeydew. I tried all kinds of incorrect/bizarre spellings... I didn't realize that I just needed to put "Dr." at the beginning.
Jul 17th, 2012 at 12:00 GMT
Ridiculous that bunsenhoneydew is not an accepted answer!
Jul 17th, 2012 at 15:15 GMT
Good, but accepted answers need to be more uniform. If you're going to accept last names for some, accept them for all. (And like everyone said, it's ridiculous having to put "DR" Bunsen Honeydew! I tried Honeydew first and it never occurred to me that not only did I need his full name but his title too.)
