That was rough... I only got the top seven, plus Brownsvile (I have a friend who lives there), and that's it. As soon as I looked at half of the other answers, I kicked myself for forgetting them.

A lot of these are suburbs of DFW. I think a quiz on that DFW suburbs would very cool. Especially for someone who lives there.

As a native Houstonian, it took me way too long to figure out which DFW suburbs were the biggest.

What about Bryan/College Station...it's essentially one place. You drive down Texas Avenue and the sign says "Now leaving College Station, Now entering Bryan." Gig 'em!

I don't know that much about Texas so I was surprised by a couple that weren't on there - Galveston & Beaumont.

@debbiedoesnothin: When did Galveston get wrecked by that hurricane? Was that last year, or the year before? Also, did anybody else think that tagline was a reference to Die Hard?

@Kevin, Ike hit in 2008, but it was the Bolivar Peninsula area that was completely destroyed. Galveston has done a decent job of recovery so far. Fantastic quiz, I was surprised Sugar Land wasn't on here myself.

How do you find Texas from North Carolina ? You keep goin west till you smell it and then keep going south till you step in it ;) . You'll know you're in Texas when you have an uncontrollable urge to shoot some irksome folks or found a new religion and or be saved like the folks at Waco or even become President . How did I miss El Paso ? We have an El Paso in Ireland -it's official name is Dundalk -the locals call it El Paso because it's close to the border :) The natives are also armed to the teeth must be that b order thing ?

Are you thinking of the 1900 Hurricane? Galveston was actually the biggest city in Texas at the turn of the (last) century; the storm practically wiped it off the map. That's when Houston started to blow up.

First was California and then Texas quiz came a few days later. I would not be surprised if a Florida quiz comes up soon. Tampa, Jacksonville, Miami, Orlando, St Pete, Tallahassee, Sarasota, West Palm Beach, Melbourne, Daytona Beach...
