Great quiz. Got them all on first go without any mistakes. Very pleased with myself!! Keep 'em coming!!

Only one I missed that I should've gotten was Borg. 7/13 ain't half bad for a man of major tournaments only.

Federer is a hundred times better than Sampras, who wasn't even competitive on clay courts. If it weren't for Rafa Nadal (possibly the greatest clay courter in the history of tennis), then Federer would have won the last 4 titles at the French.

Great quiz, but I feel that it would have been more challenging without the country hints. Just my opinion.

Great quiz! But need more Tennis ones. And Fedexpress over Samprat anyday.

Why is this quiz called "Women's Grand Slam" when it asks for the Men... I was confused to say the least.

Also got redirected to the Mens Grand Slam quiz, please fix this Sporcle.

Lendl was naturalized as an American, just like Martina Navratilova.

IMO Federer and Nadal are the two finest players of all time - anyone else that wins a grand slam in the next few years does remarkably well. I'd put Federer still slightly ahead overall but Nadal will undoubtedly overhaul him (and Sampras) within five years.
Jun 22nd, 2009 at 22:01 GMT
DRB.Nadal 'undoubtedly' overhauling Federer sounds a little silly now.Sorry but true.Nadal knees wont last for five years, unfortunate for him and all Tennis fans.
Jul 7th, 2009 at 17:11 GMT
I think this might be better without the countries listed as well.
Nov 20th, 2009 at 15:47 GMT
Tennis enthusiasts do not need the countries......casual fans will find them very helpful in directing their memory focus. Nadal, among the fiercest competitors ever to pick up a racket, will most likely never catch any of Federer's records.....he will break down physically....the very thing that makes him so uniquely exceptional will also be his achilles. Federer 1, Laver 2.

I got 12 really quick and then drew a complete blank on Wilander. I kept asking other than Borg and Edberg, who was any good from Sweden? I should have remembered Mats, though.
Jul 2nd, 2010 at 12:55 GMT
Can't believe i missed Rod Laver!
Sep 27th, 2010 at 16:08 GMT
Got 'em, but doesn't it seem like Jim Courier won five or so? For about a year he was unstoppable and the nemesis of my childhood fave (Edberg).
Nov 19th, 2010 at 12:00 GMT
Missed Jimmy Connors - although I knew that, stupid me. Good quiz though...

I always forget Newcombe.
Jan 7th, 2012 at 16:27 GMT
@Cat_Girl Lendl only became a US citizen in 1992, by which time he'd already won all 8 of his slams
Jan 29th, 2012 at 18:26 GMT
Djokovic joined this list today.
Apr 20th, 2012 at 17:29 GMT
Great quiz, but if you've updated Djokovic to 5 then Nadal should have been moved up to 10 quite some time ago.
Nov 30th, 2012 at 00:20 GMT
Concur with other comments that country hints could make it a bit more challenging. And definitely get some more tennis quizzes on here, getting sick of the big 4 US sports, there's a whole lot more in the world of sports...
May 6th, 2013 at 14:11 GMT
Federer for ever, long may he reign
Jun 10th, 2013 at 16:06 GMT
Nadal is updated for 12, but Djokovic needs to be updated for 6. 4 aussie, 1 US, 1 Wimby.
