You should really be accepting "Maureen Connolly" for Mrs. Brinker, seeing as that is how she was (and remains) professionally known to the tennis world. Margaret "Smith" Court is more understandable, although again, she's more widely known as Margaret Court.

Yes the 'Brinker' is very annoying

I agree. Maureen Connolly Brinker was known as "Little Mo" Connolly and did not become Brinker until after her tennis career had ended. I couldn't even think of her married name.

Seriously, take Connolly as an answer.

should definitely accept Connolly. Few even know the Brinker part.

Connolly never competed under the name Brinker. It makes ZERO sense that whoever created this quiz would use that name. Of course whoever wrote this quiz has not bothered to fix that in the two years its been out here, so I dont know what I expect from this complaint.

Good point burywmore - it's like changing history - harsher than only accepting 'Lloyd' for Chris Evert or 'Hardenne' for Justine Henin. Or like saying First Lady during the Kennedy administration was Jacqueline Onassis. (In fact, might just have to check which of her surnames they allow in the US First Lady quiz!)

I actually used Brinker, but it still doesn't seem to take it. As correctly noted above, I shouldn't have needed to use it regardless.

I'm 18 and I got Court, Graf and Laver. Pat on back.
