i took the same approach of guessing i did with the real world quiz. i didn't do near as well, though. they have some obscure locations.

this is one of my favorite shows, but it is so hard to remember the locations. especially for the 'micronesia' one because they advertised it as survivor: fans vs. faves. great quiz though.

I got 11 out of 17, which is good considering I've never seen the show. Come on, Survivor, how about using some cold weather locations? Or put the contestants in an exceptionally dangerous urban area, like Port Moresby?

Pulau Tiga should be accepted for Survivor: Borneo.

Blah, all I could remember was Vanuatu, of all places. Funny how your mind kinda blanks out when you need it most

agreed, dirtykash. speaking of, what is your profile picture? maybe the quiz topic is leading me to believe things that aren't real, but it looks like kelly from gabon. boy i'll feel stupid if i am wrong :)

jen: i'm not sure about that. borneo was the advertised location, so accepting pulau tiga would be akin to accepting whatever province of china that season 15 was held in, and so forth. but props for remembering the real location

This one can be updated, with Bob Crowley winning Gabon last night. Also, Survivor 18 is in Tocantins.

I'd love to see a "Survivor contestants" game. That would be a challenge. I loved this game too, and I love Survivor.

The reason Mark Burnett keeps selecting hot locations is because that's the only way people walk around in very little clothing, or even in some cases, naked. There's no shirtless Apprentice, nor is there an undressed Amazing race. Contestants walking around exposed is Survivor's trademark. A "Survivor: Antarctica" would not make for appealing reality television.

I only watched a little bit of Fiji, all of Gabon, and what has aired so far of Tocantins, but I was able to get 8/18. :D I was only able to get Vanuatu because a contestant from it appeared on another reality show which I love, Solitary.

As a non-American I knew only a few. 'Gabon' came up so I tried a lot of other African countries, not 'Africa' itself... But still fun to do a quiz where countries like Palau and Micronesia pop up.

nearlyextinct if you type in all stars you get the second pearl island - thats what happened to me. I was able to get 13 by guessing tropical places. I watched the earlier seasons and some of the more recent ones but could not remember Tocantis. Somehow i got vanuatu...i think i read it was a location but otherwise have never heard of the place
