Sometimes I wonder if all the other superheroes secretly hate Superman. He probably steals all their jobs. I mean, why would you have a message delivered by The Flash when Superman can deliver it just as fast PLUS he can blow-up any meteors that get in his way.

this quiz is going to have a very abnormal, skewed distribution. I get 13 out of 30, and I'm in the 84th percentile out of 1000? awesome quiz though

I find it pathetic the way things get stuck in my head, and I just can't get them out, no matter what. For instance - I couldn't remember Wonder Woman's last name, but the only thing that kept popping into my head was "Diana ROSS" ... it sucks to get old!

Supreme!

@robschulz: Grifter's a member of the Wildcats. The team was created by Jim Lee back in the early 1990s and originally published by Image Comics. The book's now published by DC Comics through its WildStorm imprint.
I'm with MadRAD. I'm quite surprised this quiz got published with such an egregious mistake (especially after being so thorough with Ororo/Storm's name--the Iqadi is a very recent addition to her name, and, IMS, is more of a title relating to her marriage to the Black Panther than a name). I only got the right answer by assuming the superhero ID was wrong. (Of course, Barbara currently operates as Oracle.)

@rockgolf: Actually, Diana Ross was the lead Supreme. Ethan Crain is Supreme (http://www.comicbookdb.com/character.php?ID=5344).

I only got Grifter because a) I bought all the first few issues of Image comics because I was convinced "they'd be worth money some day!" and b) he had the most silly forced pun name ever. Interestingly, I missed Spawn, despite this glut of buying early Image.

@heavyduty: Sometimes surnames aren't the last name. In Japan, for example. Or for Turanga Leela.

@mccory: I feel like there is often a certain level of resentment of Superman that comes through from Batman. However, this resentment is matched by Superman's desire for Batman to work more within the system. Maybe that's just Frank Miller speaking. In any case, some of Superman's inner turmoil is explored in Astro-City's character Samaritan. It's weird that you bring that up, at least for me, considering I just used Batman and Superman as comparisons of Odysseus and Achilles in a recent myth course.

: At least the Flash could actually deliver the message. It's not like he's Aquaman where the rest of the heroes have to think up underwater missions just to give him something to do, so he can feel he's earned his Tetra-Min flakes.

I thought Catwoman was a villain. yeah, she's recently become a hero, but she's been a villain 90% of the time she's been around. and I also thought she had recently gone back to cat-burglaring

Just as I took this quiz, I was watching the family guy talking about how useless aquaman is. a woman's getting raped on the beach, and he's just sitting in the water yellng at them. then he throws a starfish. "ah if you don't like starfish you're not gonna like what i just did"

@Csquared08, Catwoman kinda switches back and forth every now and then between hero and villain. I think she's usually looking out for her best interest, which occasionally falls on the side of good. But usually her best interest is something that she wants to steal.

Wait, is T'Challa or Monroe the last name of Ororo? Did she marry someone named Monroe then revert back to her maiden name of T'Challa (which really fits in more with 'Ororo Iqadi')?
