Why do I have to type "stadium" for most of the answers, but not for the stadium in 2005?

40/43. Didn't even think to type in "Big Sombrero," even though that was all I could remember. The other one I didn't get was the Metrodome. I go to Rice so I kind-of had to get that one.

"The Murph", and the "New sombrero". Great call on nicknames.

I typed in Houlihan's Stadium and it came up for 1991 but not 1984. Still got the perfect score though.

What J66 said. Overall nice work counting the nick names. But I'm holding out on giving 5 stars until that glitch is fixed.

Paul, you sure have shown me the error of my ways. I'll never waste time playing online trivia games again! Instead, I'll start wasting time by going to online trivia sites and telling people how bad online trivia games are! I have been converted!

good quiz. Got 35/43, probably would have done better if I'd sat and tried to remember the corporate name of the new Tampa stadium. Which is kinda funny because it's THIS year's SB... but no one's talking about it I guess! Hard to believe Astrodome never had one.

I think the LA Rams were also pretty close to home in super bowl XIV. I don't know if they were playing in Anaheim or the LA Coliseum but they were definitely playing near home at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. So the Niners and the Rams are the two teams to play in the SB at their respective markets.

The only one I missed was Rice Stadium. The only reason I knew Stanford Stadium was because of some old NFL Films clip I watched on that game; it started off with shots of gargoyles, kind of an odd introduction. Gotta love NFL Films from the 80s.

I wonder if the NFL would ever consider hosting a Super Bowl in Toronto at the Rogers Centre. It'd sell out no matter where they played since so many tickets are allocated to the teams' fans. And it'd be a big boon for them in terms of increasing their popularity in Canada. Canadians fawn over anything American.
