	For those of you that liked this, there was a great user-created quiz in which you have to name the capitals from east to west. Search something like "US Capitals east to west"

	@Mockenrue: Yeah, Sporcle's randomization algorithm doesn't seem to be very good. This is a feature on many of the random-order games.

	@Goldrusher: Keep taking quizzes! I'm a lousy typist too, but I have to say after hanging out here almost daily for a couple months, it seems like I'm becoming programmed to type things like Massachusetts, Liechtenstein or Kyrgyzstan without even thinking about it. Practice, practice, practice!

	The state abbreviations would have taken less time. The one that took me the longest to think of was my own state! Talk about brain farts.

	It's weird that I know more of them when I see the capital and I'm asked for the state. If it gave the state name and asked for the capital I would've gotten a lot less right.

	As a Canadian, and never having actually "learned" the states and capitals, I think I did pretty good except I didn't even have enough time to go through all 50. Then there are the capitals I could have gotten right after I eliminated some states. It was very frustrating to be in the middle of guessing and finding out the time was up. I can see how Americans would find it easier to do in 4 mins, but it's not enough time for some others (especially trying to spell Massachusetts or Tennessee :P).

	@Mello: I hope not! That just means that people will have to backspace when the two answers "California, Colorado" become "Cali, forniaColorado".

	@Goldrusher: I can see where you're coming from but making the time limit much longer would just let people cut and paste to guess the answers. I think more people would complain about that than are going to complain about the current short-ish time limit. 40% of people are already getting 50/50 and typing the names of the states in four minutes is only about 21wpm (a `word' is taken as five characters). Apparently, the average two-finger typist can reach 25+wpm when copying a set text and 35+wpm when typing from memory so I think the time limit is reasonable.

	Salem, Oregon is so low on the list... if only Portland was the capital or Salem was as big.. more out of state people would get it... sigh

	Very enjoyable quiz. Did much, MUCH better this way than guessing the capital from the state name! Nearly got whipped by Jefferson City, MO, but finally got it with :24 to spare - whew!
