Both Jan Hooks and Ana Gasteyer played Hillary. And the list is missing important SNL political characters like Perot and Reno, though granted they were played by castmembers already represented here.

Bob Dole : Dan Aykroyd's was WAY better than Norm Macdonald's.

Mr.T is sooo correct. I think Aykroyd should play McCain also since Dole & McCain both share the right arm injury from the war.

Tim Meadows should come back and play Obama. Play him like a cross between serious Obama and The Ladies Man.

Where's Fred Armisen's Obama? Or Reagan by Phil Hartman or Randy Quaid?

Better or not, Dan Aykroyd should be an alternative for Bob Dole.

If you type in "Armisen" (which I did assuming Obama was on this list), Dana Carvey comes up...wtf?

Dana Carvey also did a great Ross Perot (not to mention Phil Hartman's Admiral Stockdale). http://www.hulu.com/watch/4123/saturday-night-live-joyride-with-perot

Aykroyd should be an alternate for Dole. Also, Armisen's Obama should be on here as well. Robin Williams also played Reagan when he hosted back in the mid 80s.

After Will Ferrell left the show, Chris Parnell played George W. Bush, but it only lasted for a sketch or two before they took it away from him and gave it to Forte.

@Doggygirl Seth Meyers did John Kerry ("I have a plan") in 2004. Probably the only thing I can remember him doing apart from the Weekend Update.

I just had a thought - Al Franken portrayed at least one senator (Paul Simon, D-IL) while at SNL. Now that Franken *is* a senator, I wonder if someone at SNL will do him.
