	Paul Simon was on SNL at least five times but mostly as a musical guest. He was on the skit when Tom Hanks joined the five timers but he didn't host it five times.

	On wikipedia it doesn't list him under the 5 timers but the list of individual show hosts has him hosting 5 different episodes (although one is the 100th episode so maybe something special happened)

	Showing my age but as someone who still fondly remembers the era of the Not Ready for Prime Time cast, there was a time when I really looked forward to the host, who was there bcoz he/she worked well w/cast and writers, had a flair for that kind of sketch comedy and simply loved hosting w/out having something new to promote. Too many times now the host seems to be there just to promote an upcoming or a recently opened succe$$ful film. (Applause sign now flashing).
