I'm only in grade ten, so I only knew the first three. We only did trig basics. Ah well!

@jordan: I think the mnemonic is SOHCAHTOA (Sin=Opp/Hyp; Cos= Adj/Hyp; Tan= Opp/Adj) Also, accepted abbreviations should be allowed for this quiz (sin, cos, tan, csc, sec, cot)

I only knew the "other" three as Cosec, Sec and Cot. So 3/6 even though it was literally the last thing I did (i.e. final lesson today) at school :

I suck at math and still got all six in nine seconds. I guess I was bound to retain something from trigonometry...

haven't taken a math class for the past two years so I only got the basic three, though I tried "inverse sine" etc... just couldn't remember their formal names.

The abbreviations shouldn't be accepted. If you only know the functions by the buttons on your scientific calculator, then you don't really know them.

@heydigital: inverse sin, inverse cos and inverse tan are three completely different functions unrelated to sec, csc, and cot.

jc88 is right the 'other three' are 1/sin etc. Literally just done this stuff in the past week at college, before then I'd only have got 3 :-)

Oh, I'm not saying they're good. That's what popped into my head. Everything relates back to cheesy television with me. Also, for those wanting more groan worthy jokes, read on! [Trigonometry for farmers: swine and coswine...] and [Q What does trigonometry have in common with a beach? A: Tan Gents] ...yeaaaahhhh...sorry.
