Love this quiz. Missed Roy Tarpley and Danny Manning. I'm going to go out on a limb and say this year's sixth man will be Lamar Odom of the Los Angeles Lakers.

Great quiz. And this year's winner will be Juan Dixon! Probably not, but I love that guy.

I love the sports quizzes, Ben but the other ones are fun also. 13/26 on this one. Could have been 15 if I knew how to spell Schrempf!

I missed williamson, Jamison (because I was spelling it with an E instead of an I), and Rodney Rogers. Funny b/c Rogers and Williamson are carbon copies of each other. The fact that some of these guys were even eligible for the 6th man award is stupid. If your team sucks but you have some guy win the 6th man award then MAYBE something is wrong, huh, Coach? Haha. Some of these guys were one of the 2-3 best players on their teams. Who was starting ahead of McHale? Schrempf? The fact that Ginobili wasn't starting is a technicality. He probably played more min. than anyone else on the team. The Celtics of the 80's had two Hall of famers win the sixth man award! Thats how loaded they were. One of the few NBA Champs in history that could go 7-8 deep and still be pulling All-Stars off the bench. Crazy.

HAHA! In fact, it should be a rule: As a head coach, if your team does not make the playoffs and someone on your team wins the 6th man award, you are automatically fired.

I did NOT know about that second to last "i" in Ginobili. I couldn't understand why it wasn't taking my answer! Only got 15 and missed the whole set between 2000-2003 which is recent enough to be shameful. LOL - Only got Darrell Armstrong because I was thinking BJ Armstrong for 1996 (forgot Toronto already had him by then.) But 6th Men have really degenerated in the last 10 years. Only Manu and Jamison are (or are even close to being) All-Stars

Ben: Keep the sports ones coming, they are great!!! (A couple more NHL ones would be nice. You could also do minor league sports teams ones, there aren't any of those yet.)

I didn't like this one. Not a basketball fanatic, so I don't keep track of these trivial awards. Thanks for posting this quiz, though... I learned something today!

Pat, if Sloan persists with this strategy, Kirilenko will be this year's 6th man.

I would laugh at that last joke Ben. Except for my poor logo this year.

Ben, how about a NASCAR quiz... Winston/Sprint Cup champions, either all time or since 1980 or something... that drivers quiz for 08 is terribly weak

It shows how much the league has been spread thin with the quality of players winning the 6th man award. Comparing Mchale, Schrempf, Manning etc... with Armstrong, Gordon, Barbosa is comical. Manu is one of the few recent winners to go against this however as camden pointed out, it's trivial that he is a 6th man.

i agree w/ michelle ginobili started and made the allstar team you dont see them giving the 6th man to lebron or kobe, so why give it to another starter?

Ginobili started in only 23 games last year, less than a third of his team's games.
