	I didn't even read the characters...just named the British shows I know. Office and Absolutely Fabulous were there...Fawlty Towers, Mr. Bean, Benny Hill Show, and Monty Python were not...which is a shame.

	@voljtw: Benny Hill and Monty Python are sketch comedies, not sitcoms, so they shouldn't be there. (Not sure on Mr. Bean; never have actually watched it.) But I agree on Fawlty Towers; I was disappointed to not see Basil, Sybil, Manuel as a clue.

	Fantastic Quiz! Great way to start the day with a giggle. Love that Baldrick's first name was a clue! It also serves as a reminder of just how good British comedy can be....when they get it right, it's the best there is!

	Ah. The Brittas Empire. When I lived in the UK, I lived in the town of Ringwood where the real Whitbury Newtown Leisure Centre was. It was pretty damn poor and it was pretty disconcerting walking around the swimming pool where pieces of Colin's scabby skin fell off into.

	OK, so there are hundreds of sitcoms so there have to be lots missing. But no Fawlty Towers? No One Foot in the Grave? No Father Ted and no Last of the Summer Wine? That's frankly absurd. (And they came 5th, 10th, 11th and 14th in the BBC's poll of the best British Sitcoms ever, so it's not just me who'll be surprised at their omission.)

	Definitely not a list of the best British sitcoms! Some amazing titles up there but some weak ones too - who's ever heard of 'Not Going Out'? Wikipaedia tells me it was 2006-2009 on BBC 1, how have I never seen it then!?
