	27/31. It's amazing how many of these I've picked up by just listening to radio 4 in the background. Most have sensible names (e.g. Humber, Biscay, German Bight) so guessing a few more was quite easy. Still tough to get close to them all. Good quiz.

	@ Katie the shipping forecast is just a weather forecast for ships at sea. BBC Radio 4's long wave broadcast can be picked up quite a distance away from the shore but as it is audio only the sea around the UK is divided up into areas to make the explanation easier. This has been going on for so long that the shipping forecast has enter a more mainstream consciousness.

	I think "faroes" should be allowable for faeroes. I know the BBC website spells it the second way, but the islands can be spelled the first...

	Fun quiz, thanks! For North Americans and other non-brits, the Shipping Forecast is broadcast several times daily on BBC Radio 4, the main serious non-music channel. As sausage suggests above, it has a rhythmic, evocative quality that one hears and imbibes irrespective of involvement with the sea or seafaring. Most Brits who've ever spent time listening to R4 would be able to get 30-40% of these at least, I'd say

	Love it. Nice to know where these familiar places are, although some a pretty obvious -Irish Sea for instance. Nice to have a Britcentric quiz.
