shouldn't 'dev card' count under Things to Buy? You use it in your own quiz, you can't have it both ways sporcle :)

Shoot, messed up and typed "horn of plenty" and couldn't figure out what was wrong. Let's see some Cities & Knights action! Barely play regular anymore.

Man, this quiz is tough when you only played the non-English version... But I love this quiz anyway! Even got 8/16 by just translating everything I know

i used to play with a group that was adamant that it was called 'mutton' and not 'sheep'.... i'd have to look at the instructions to see the actual wording though. anybody know?

I play with a bunch of friends that, when asked if they have a wood, are adamant to say "ya, in my pants!". Great game and great quiz!

not a game goes by that a wood joke isn't being said by at least someone in the group. Great quiz I'd love to see the C&K show it's face.

No Seafarers/Cities & Knights? They also just came out with a new one--Traders & Barbarians. Will it ever end? Hope not.

@Andy B: they began calling soldiers "knights" when they revamped the game recently and released a version with differently-styled card and hexes - i assume that was for the consistency with cities & knights.

Glad to see this excellent game hitting the mainstream more and more. Definitely in my top 10 board games of all time. @ montecarlo: I think sheep in the game represent wool more than mutton, hence their use in shipbuilding in "Seafarers."

I play this game about 4 times a day on Catan Online World. Never heard of a "Year of Plenty". In both my hard copy and online it is called "Invention".

you should accept town or village for settlement, and longest trade route for longest road..

Lol, I couldn't remember the name of the card that gives you 2 free roads. Turned out it was just "road building".

the group i play settlers with has decided that the robber is actually a robber baron due to the fact that he is a wealthy industrialist who has made his fortune harvesting spices from the desert

Isn't it inconsistent to say "Year of Plenty" and "Knight"? Editions with Knights have Discovery, and editions with Year of Plenty have Soldiers.
