I Only Got 15. Shame On Me. I Love European Football, But I Haven't Had The Time To Stay In Tune With It.

I'm right there with you. I can get the old clubs, but the teams who were recently promoted are difficult because I can't keep up in the United States (same with the EPL, La Liga, etc.).

I really enjoy this quiz. It reminds me of last spring when grad school was done, and I had spring break at my school, and I spent the rest of the season watching every AC Milan and Manchester United game.

interesting to see the full names of some clubs, such as Genoa Cricket and Football Club. Good old-fashioned Italian there...

Genoa was founded by Brits, so no real surprise about the name. ;)

Got the 20th with a second to spare. Forgot Catania stayed up on the final day last year.

AC Milan was also founded as a cricket club by British expats. That's why even Italians call it Milan and not Milano.

Shouldn't the version "Atalanta Bergamo" be accepted? It contains both the club and the city name. Not everyone knows how to create adjective (bergamsco) from a city name in the Italian language.

If anyone wants to try it. I made a quiz where you have to name every club that has ever played in Serie A. http://www.sporcle.com/games/sc00/AllSerieAClubs

It would be really great if just Cesena and Lecce were acceptable instead of having to write out their full names.

agree, don't understand why Lecce isn't accepted. didn't try Cesena, but would agree that that should be accepted too.

not happy...You should accept Cesena and Lecce instead of their full names. I was just about to complete it but i didn't know how to spell Cesena's full name....but i am giving my self full marks anyway

Missed on Cesena and Lecce because apperently only the full name was accepted and I didn't know them by their full names.

I'm going to echo the suggestion that Lecce and Cesena should be accepted. If Inter or Milan or Genoa or any of the other short names work, then why not those two?

@Happ_Hazzard: at the end of the 2010-11 season. Note: there are only 19 teams on this quiz, but should be 20. You are missing Novara.
