It has been a long time, but didn't Martin Short come on the show toward the end of its run? Maybe they were just guest appearances. Anyone know?

Yeah, what about Martin Short? It's been a long time since I watched SCTV, but he definitely on there.

Allow me to add my vote for Martin Short. And as mentioned above it's Harold Ramis, not Herold Ramis.

Martin Short was on for less than 25 episodes but definitely a memorable part of the show! Also, I did put in for the Harold Ramis correction.

Ed Grimley would not be happy at this quiz.

Might have been better to include Martin Short and make the rule "people named and pictured in the opening credits." Counting the number of episodes each cast member was in becomes problematic given how the shows were chopped up and repackaged, first for NBC (SCTV Network 90) and later for syndication.

Or, since the dates here only go up to 1981, maybe you're only counting the first three seasons, before the name was changed to SCTV Network 90.

Martin Short should be a bonus answer at least; he was the first cast member I thought of! Looks like with the 25 ep. rule, he's the only one left out.

Our apologies to Ed Grimley, he has been added. And we fixed the typo on Harold.
