	I tried to stick to authors who are more a part of straight-up classic Sci-Fi. I almost dropped Wells and Verne, but they're so often cited as the dawn of SF that I was OK with it. But an author like Lewis, who is better known for fantasy, or Orwell, who's 1984 is sci-fi, but to my mind isn't that big a part of SF culture weren't what I was going for in this quiz. It really is more a quiz about sci-fi authors than identifying the authors of sci-fi works, if that makes sense.

	In my opinion H.P.Lovecraft should be in that quizz,many of his novels are related to science fiction.

	What about Edgar Rice Burroughs? He's most famous for Tarzan, but he certainly wrote a lot of well know Sci-Fi.

	I wrote the quiz before his untimely passing. Otherwise he surely would have been. Burroughs and Lovecraft both would have been good inclusions, but it is not as though I was shooting for comprehensiveness.

	Looking at the missed list, sad to see most people not knowing one my favorites, though I prefer The Demolished Man (first novel to win a Hugo) to The Stars My Destination, which is definately an odd read.

	I personally would have liked Piers Anthony, but I can understand why you'd leave him off if you're going for straight sci-fi.

	tcalleen - I'll see if I can get enough good choices together for a fantasy quiz, and if I do, Anthony will be on it. :) Math Chick - Depends on the author. For authors with what seemed to me like overwhelmingly known books: Heinlein and Stranger, Asimov and I Robot, Bradbury with Farenheit, I went with a secondary book that was still well known, but not their main work. I don't honestly know why I didn't do that with Clarke - might have just felt like Rendezvous with Rama was tougher than I felt like Clarke being. Past that, I mostly picked what seemed to me the iconic work.

	that's a pretty crappy choice for sterling, certainly not his "masterwork" unlike the others. you should have gone with Islands in the Net or Schismatrix. Even Heavy Weather or Holy Fire would have been better choices. Also, wtf no Frederick Pohl, Joseph Haldeman, Greg Bear or Douglas Adams?

	jesse - It's one of two of his works to win a Hugo, hence my logic on it. And no, none of the others. I wanted about a 20 question quiz, and that necessitated sacrificing completeness.
