I can recite the song in my sleep. Although my friend would sing it with the last two deer as "Richard Nixon"

Awww come on yankeessuck, how could you forget the Jewish Reindeer? There's Kvetcher and Schepper and Bulvan and Bupkis, Farcockt and Forfoilt and Zaytik and Gotkes. But do you recall, the most Jewish Reindeer of all? Oy, it's ok, no one does.

I'm with Laura. Why isn't Rudolph on the list? He's the one the whole song is about in the first place!! Without him, Santa couldn't see while flying that sleigh and he'd probably crash into a mountain or something. Then Santa would fall down the mountain and break his legs and the bones would go through the skin!! And the reindeer would smell fresh blood and rip him apart limb from limb while he was still alive! IS THAT WHAT YOU WANT?!?!?! ahem, i mean just add Rudolph please.

@Adrian::: That's what I was thinking. Before I started the quiz, I was already assuming Rudolph would be a bonus answer, and after trying it, I found out I was right! :)

Erm, you must have your wires crossed Dan Zambito. Rudolph isn't mentioned at all in The Night Before Christmas, to my recollection. Rudolph was created later than the original reindeer I believe.

Olive rocks! I'm surprised I actually got all of these. I haven't really sung the jingle or given them much thought since elementary school.

The Night Before Christmas, a poem, not a song, was writen in 1823. Rudolph was created in 1939 for Monomery ward. I'll take art over commercialism any day.

If you go by the original Night Before Christmas Song(A visit from St Nicholas poem) then the last 2 answers would be wrong because the original version has their names as Dunder and Blixem

At least it accepts Donder if you type it in, but it should be what is displayed. It is the correct name.

To clarify: In the original 1823 poem, "A Visit from St. Nicholas", the final two reindeer were "DUNDer and BliXEM". In an 1844 adaptation, they were inexplicably changed to "DONDer and BliTZEN". Finally, 20th Century adaptations almost exclusively use "DonNer and Blitzen". Therefore, any of those options should be (and ARE) accepted. I personally used Dunder and Blixem.

Rudoplh is a bonues answer. Which is the best way to do it, because he only comes out when the snow is too heavy for santa to see. He isn't one of the main reindeer at all.
