| Great quiz idea, but I, as many others, think whoever makes these lists at Rolling Stone are a bunch of morons. If you're going to represent the grunge era on the list, at least do better than Nevermind. Anyone who likes/liked grunge will tell you that Soundgarden's Badmotorfinger and Superunknown are far superior to any Nirvana album. STP's Core and Purple are both superior to any Nirvana album. Dirt by Alice in Chains, even Pearl Jam's Ten could have found its way onto this list. Just because those albums may not have been as popular as Nevermind, doesn't make Nevermind a better album. Also, I grew up as a Beatles fan, but cannot for the life of me understand why there are so many of their albums on this list. Abbey Road was a masterpiece and yet there are at least two Beatles albums ahead of it on this list that shouldn't even be on the list in the first place. Wake up Rolling Stone!!! I'll come down from my soapbox now :) |
