Btw, I've never encountered a latin inscription where they say XIV - they always say XIIII (as in C IAPETO M F LEGIO XIIII GEMINA COH III FEC F EIUS M IAPETUS (for gaius iapetus son of marcus of the 14th legion gemina, 3d cohors, marcus iapetus, his son, made this).
