"Three days of the Condor" is a great film. Pity so few people have got it right.@gopaladins - i think "a Bridge too Far" is getting missed as it has a large all-star cast & therefore doesn't spring to mind as readily as a Redford film as other films that are probably less well-known overall.

I was an extra in 1984's, and have seen maybe five others. Yay, there's nothing wrong with me. That this quiz proves.

Why is he not "Title Character" in the second 1975 film?

@Joshua: I agree, great movie, and you know, those random people in the stands were outstanding, don't you think? =) The games were filmed in Buffalo, where I lived at the time. I knew the guy who chases him to the train in the beginning and his speaking line of "Hey mister, you forgot your ball." Kid had massive amounts of ego about that.

The 1980 film could be title character as well... Got 20, kicked myself on a couple I missed. Some personal favorite films of mine here ('69, the second '73, the third '75, '84).

By my count, I've seen eleven of these. I think the first one from 1992 is very underrated - a good cast that take you on a fun ride - a lot like Ocean's Eleven.

I remember the Sting and they are always running that butch cassidy one in commercials though I never seen it. So I guess there is something wrong with me with 2.. I am glad I hate to be part of the norm!

Sorry Sporcle, I've only seen two: Butch Cassidy and A Bridge Too Far. But I didn't remember him from the latter.

Robert Redford has starred in some of my all-time favorite films('67, '69, all three '75s, '77, '85)--wish he'd have done more comedies, though. He and Sydney Pollack made a great, underrated team.

What makes me sad is that Redford and Newman had plans to do one more movie together. They had the project lined up and had already started rehearsals but Newman had to drop out because of his health.

@Speedbird007--I agree, Redford & Newman were Legendary together; one almost can't mention one without the other. The amazing thing is that they only teamed up for two films, and we spent the next 35 years waiting for thier next one, which sadly never happened. But I wanted to point out that Redford/Pollack was a great actor/director team that ranks up there with Wayne/Ford, Deniro/Scorsese, Stewart/Capra, etc.
