What about Boy, Going Solo, The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar, Revolting Rhymes, Dirty Beasts? All my favourites!

I second the Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar, which I entered in so many permutations trying to get it, but it turns out it wasn't even on the list. Love that one!

I understand Boy and Going Solo not being included, because they aren't strictly children's books, but the others really should be. Dirty Beasts, especially, was a favorite of mine as a kid.

I think 'Marvellous' should be allowed as a spelling - it's in the original title!

@Clair D'Alby, Anthony Strand: Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar is probably my favorite as well, but the small print at the top does say that the list does not include short stories.

Dirty Beasts is short stories as well. Can't believe I missed The Minpins, and that only 4.5% of others got it, I loved that book!

Wow I missed so many :( But I thought of Boy, which my class read in 6th grade, so I think that counts as a children's book.

Boy was clearly written for children--it looks and reads just like any of his other chapter books. It's not fiction, but the title of this quiz isn't "the children's novels of Roald Dahl." At the very least it should be a bonus answer.

I also vote to include Henry Sugar -- it's by Roald Dahl, and I definitely read that collection as a child.

the victor of nibblesquicke was HILARIOUS! I loved it! It's about a guy that talks backward so the doctor tells him to walk backwards! The BFG is my all time favorite of Roald Dahl's! It's funny and sweet! Matilda as well. That one was amazing! Let's put it this way, I LOVE ROALD DAHL!
