	I guess some of these rhyme's depend on your accent. :) As a Northwest native, I pronounce moore and floor the same way, same with ferry and fairy.

	The 2nd clue reminds me of one of Ken Nesbitt's poems: Katey ate a crate of eighty rated-Grade-A dates. Grade-A dates are rated Grade-A mainly for their weights. Eighty dates made plates and plates, and Katey ate all eighty. Katey met her fate that date, and now the crate hold Katey.

	nice quiz, and Randall & spang you are both incorrect. Possessive of for Hanks would be Hanks' and Spears would be Spears'. Pronunciation is just like its spelled.

	To those complaining about the rhymes: The pronunciation of vowels varies a lot by region, esp. when combined with an R sound. But even with that variation, they're still near rhymes and that's good enough for most poets.

	@RandallPinkston - that's because they have bowed to public pressure to change it...back when I was in English class in the 1980s, putting it as Hanks's would have been an automatic failure on any paper. Language changes over time, and in this case, I think it's a mistake.

	Fairy & Jerry are perfect rhymes for me too (lifelong Northern Californian). In my accent they also rhyme with 'very' and 'scary'. I also pronounce Moore and floor the same (to rhyme with door or more) but I know the last name is correctly pronounced as 'moor' or 'Moor", to rhyme with lure. What bugged me about this quiz (though I did like it overall) was that 3 of the rhymes didn't follow the pattern of the other 13 with the possessives. If the quiz is roughly half & half, fine, but it's confusing to only have a few that don't follow the pattern.

	I second Hess' alternate answer of "Jack's Dacks" - that was my first thought and it fits. Spears' and Hanks' are perfectably acceptable!

	@springmom: Your rule holds true for plural nouns that end in S, but not for names that end in S. The name of the novel and subsequent film was (correctly): Bridget Jones's Diary. As RandallPinkston also sourced (more authoritatively), the New York Times, Wiki, and the BBC all follow the same rule for possessives of proper nouns ending in S.

	@ springmom: That's absurd. Dropping the final s robs the word of any information about whether it is plural. If I write "Spears'" as you would have me do it, you can't tell if I'm referring to something belonging to one person named Spears or something owned collectively by the entire Spear family.
