	Including the republic of congo just because that's the usual way to distinguish the country from the other congo is really arbitrary. If a country starts with an r if it starts with republic in the official name than for example Ireland should be included as well.

	Great quiz. Two nits -- there are a ton of countries that technically are recognized as "Republic of" so it seems a little arbitrary to single out one Republic for the answer. Second, just as rabbit sometimes is translated as hare for the Chinese Zodiac, I think sheep usually is translated as ram.

	I also tried "ram" repeatedly, since that's what it says on the mats at my favorite chinese restaurant. It also says "hare" and "cock", so take that for what it's worth. (I also guessed "Richard III" but didn't think that "Richard II" existed.)

	bangs head on keyboard...got Romania, got Rwanda....didn't think of Russia, though when I did geography in my head trying to think of them, I got Belarus, Ukraine, all the stans etc, but mother Russia never crossed my mind. Argh!

	love these letter quizzes and at the same time totally hate them. It's amazing how my mind (which has memorized the countries, periodic table, all four major sports leagues teams, books of the Bible, presidents, and state capitals) can just totally BLANK when I do these quizzes. Moral of the Story: Memorizing isn't learning.

	It makes perfect sense that Republic of the Congo should be listed, but not other republics. The Congo is an ambiguous term because there are 2 countries with that name, Republic of the Congo, and Democratic Republic of the Congo. It would make sense to specify the two, however, it does not make sense to specify that it is the Republic of China or Ireland, because there is no other China or Ireland.
