Haha, great idea. Love the Awards quizzes so far, especially with the Grand Daddy of them all coming up on Sunday, so this is really a nice treat.

I gotta say though, it's a lot harder to name the Worst Pictures because they were so bad you forgot about them immediately. ;)

Do we really need to post both halves of the 1989 answer? Is the first half not sufficient on its own?

somehow showgirls beat out waterworld in 95

Some of the answers are wonky. For example, "adventure of ford fairlane" is acceptable, but "adventures of ford fairlane" is not. I also don't think you should have to type "rambo: first blood part II" rambo 2, or first blood part II should be acceptable.

"Rambo" should be sufficient, as that's what most people call it. And the tie answers should, perhaps, make it more clear in the clue that it's two movies; I thought at first it was asking for one movie starring Lea Thompson and Prince.

thankfully i only got 7. and i use in my defnece of this low score the fact that i have only seen 2 of these films: the tom cruise film of '88 and teh will smith film of '99. i'm not ashamed

I agree with MRL - somewhere it should be clear that 1986 and 1990 are ties and therefore you are looking for two separate movies. Though I have to say I might enjoy a film that starred Prince and Lea Thompson.

I got 18, but would've got 19 if it accepted "Rambo". It took Star Trek for Star Trek V and Ford Fairlane was also acceptable, so "Rambo" should be too.

Wait, I thought this was a quiz on all the worst movies. Where are all those Will Ferrel films. Maybe there will be a quiz of the worst actors of all time, since the list of his terrible movies is so long.

My other comments: 1) I'd sleep with Robert Redford for free. 2) No wire hangers! 3) Gobble, gobble.

Only seen three movies on that list. Quite happy about that actually. Must say though, I've seen the 1999 movie at least twice and I don't think it's that horrible. Not compared to the Madonna one any way... or the horror that is Tom Green.

I think the Jenny McCarthy movie is stupidly funny. Definitely not as bad as Ben Affleck's or LiLo's!

I didn't even like it when it was called Chasing Amy...
If you look at a list of the nominees for each year you can clearly see that a lot of the winners do so on the backs of studio politics and critical grudges. I'm not saying any of the movies that won were in any ways good movies; there are just some years where the winner isn't worse than a couple of the others by any standard. For example, Gigli was a horrible movie by all accounts, but it won the Razzie that year more due to the media oversaturation of "Bennifer" than on it bieng a bad movie. A lot of it is just them saying, "We need to take this person down a notch." Truth.

Ah how appropriate this quiz is seeing as Howard The Duck finally comes out on DVD on March 10, 2009. It has been sitting in the save area of my Netflix queue for several years now.

Cassy, the Jenny McCarthy one tried to be stupidly funny, but failed badly, and ended up just being painfully stupid.

I think the number correct column is screwed up ... also, notice that having his movie slammed (by, you know, EVERYBODY) hasn't really managed to deflate Shatner's ego one bit ...

Ahh, the Razzies, is anyone ever trying to get one on purpose, because someone must realize how horrible a movie is before they release it to theaters.

I rather enjoyed the Costner film myself, but wow-it's no wonder Tom Green really hasn't had much work since his abomination. He should've tried to make what good he could have out of his short-lived fame and stayed with Drew as long as he could have.
