I think we're ready for round two, with Racine, Euripides, Ionesco, Mamet, Shepard, O'neill, Strindberg ....

LOL, last year, I wouldn't have known any of these besides Shaw and Shakespeare - maybe Wilde, if I was desperately typing in random names :) But now I got 13 out of 16 - I've never really even heard of the other three though.

I got The Threepenny Opera right with "Kurt Weill," but I don't know if that's technically right... Weill was the composer, Brecht was the playwright. I leave it to you, dear Sporclers, to decide.

this is way too easy. Challenge us a bit next time. --- Weill is incorrect. The quiz asks for playwrights, not composers. Good for the musical composers quiz though (if there is one).

Edward Albee is more well-known than Marlowe, O'Neill or Aeschylus? I seriously doubt that.

A: Blanking on Tennessee Williams's name under the pressure of the timer. Q: What are reasons I would fail on Jeopardy?
