I quit after it wouldn't accept Big Ern McCracken and Roy Munson.

Only one I knew was Hardwick, then it was guessing common last names.

I like this quiz a lot... I don't know jack about bowling (I got nine, five through knowledge and four through guessing names), but it's always cool to see quizzes that cover topics Sporcle hasn't covered before.

Only ones I got were from the movie Kingpin. In the tournament they show the names of a few pro bowlers. Good thing I've seen the movie a million times.

Thank you bag_a_chips. I have been waiting a long time for a real bowling quiz to come on sporcle. Such a pity I didn't pay more attention when they listed the people on tv. @ cloycebox- Veripapa was around too long before the PBA got started. Had he been a few years younger, he would surely have made the list, but as it stands, he never had too much PBA success simply because he wasn't in it long enough.

Anthony was my first guess - he was my favorite PBA bowler when I was a kid. After that, I relied on my memory and nailed a few.

I tried Kapil Dev and Shane Warne before I realised that you weren't talking about that kind of bowling.

Just like Cloyce, I"m more than a little disappointed that there's no Andy Varipapa. I've thrown so many Varipapa 300's...
