I can't help but wonder why the bonus answer is a bonus instead of a real answer.

I got thrown off on "Down", that was also a Blink 182 song. And a Stone Temple Pilots song off of their album "4". That might be a good quiz, song titles shared by multiple artists. On a sidenote, if "FIF" is accepted for Five Iron Frenzy, shouldn't "NIN" be accepted for Nine Inch Nails?

First off, great quiz- I'd been waiting for this one for a while, and got 22. Second, jesus christ, people, there's a ridiculous amount of bands with numbers. If they want to make a sequel, they can, but it's really not fair to criticize a quiz that features 26 out of the many thousands of bands with numbers in their names.

You know what my problem with these band name quizzes? I can sing the entire song, hear the whole score in my head, and draw a big blank on the artist. For instance, "Caught up in You". Sang the whole thing, remembered the picture on the cover, remembered a discussion I had with my friend Zach about this song probably twenty years ago, and still couldn't come up with the artist.

There can and should be a lot of sequels to this. Sequels could include those said above, plus: 12 Stones 3 65daysofstatic (How on earth were they missed?!?!?!) finger eleven Galaxie 500 Secret Chiefs 3 Powerman 5000 (I think that's the band name lol) Prefuse 73 Just saying. Still enjoyed this quiz though. :D

I remember spending a whole week doing nothing but thinking of artists with numbers, and now it's a Sporcle quiz! I was disappointed not to see 3rd Bass, but it's great to see 2pac on here. Rest In Peace, 2pac and Biggie

"Third" is definitely not a number. (Well, it's an "
ordinal
number," but not an integer.)
And as
lulubelles
(and others) have pointed out, there could be an all-UK sequel, easily.

I find it depressing that as of right now, twice as many people know Maroon 5 than know Nine Inch Nails.

Actually, if you really want depressing, I got 5th Dimension easily, but I couldn't get Nine Inch Nails, Maroon 5, Matchbox 20, or 50 cent . . . Oh wait, I'm old! Now I'm really depressed!

Three Days Grace are ridiculously terrible. I'm glad they weren't on this quiz. (Also, I fully expect to get down-arrowed for this comment.)

Cool quiz idea but to be quite honest, I think it would be better if it didn't include names where the number just stands for [n]tet (Ben Folds Quintet). Not that these don't follow the guidelines or anything, but more for novelty's sake. Or something.
