Why list NFL when there are no NFL teams that do not end in 'S'? Why have a soccer ball in the picture when the question doesn't ask about soccer?

They list the NFL because this quiz is about teams in the four major American sports: football, baseball, basketball, and hockey. It just happens that there are no NFL teams whose nickname doesn't end in 's.'

you oughta include the wnba and mls. it'll make the quiz longer, harder and more fun. could also use more time.

I got 9 of 9 If they included the WNBA and MLS I'd get 9 of however many there'd be total. The Sonics moved to OKC this year, by the way. They haven't played an official game there yet.

Loved this quiz! I got 8/9 I'm guessing most won't get the Thunder. I had completely forgotten about them.

Just because you don't like a sport doesn't mean it isn't a sport.

I got everything except Avalanche, and I think it's because I'm so used to call them the "Avs". Fun quiz.

Yeah, Hockey isn't a sport. Ha. Coming from Boston, no wonder. What have the Bruins done in the last 50 years? I would love to see Tom Brady or David Ortiz try to skate next to anyone in the NHL.

I wouldn't include the WNBA. Who follows it? I didn't even know they had just played a season until I saw a playoff score in the paper. Face it, if it weren't for NBA subsidies, there would be no WNBA. Sad, but true.

I've been waiting for this one. It's a great trivia question for friends. The next one I'm waiting for is the countries whose names have 4 letters.

error in the description: "Below you will find the least and most remembered professional sports teams that do not end in 'S' (NHL, NBA, NFL, NBA)" NBA is listed twice and MLB is not listed.

They didn't make anything up, Josh. The Seattle SuperSonics moved to Oklahoma City this year and renamed the team "Thunder"

I wasn't aware that the supersonics moved to oklahoma city either. And also boston bully is an idiot, hockey is as much of a sport as anything else, i got those right away.

Heh, I never would have thought of the Sox. Since that's technically a plural of "sock". But it still works!

As a (former) Sonics fan, it really hurt to type in the name of the the new team. I think it's the first time I've ever done it.

What's with Florida teams making up 1/3 of the game. And Giffer, you're Boston Bruins are currently tied for the best record in the NHL.
