| Oh, I meant "Where is the Moore quiz?" in the sense of "Why isn't there already a Moore quiz?" so that's fine.
Considering that a) Batman villains is one of the more popular quizes, and there are other high-placed comics-related quizes (particularly with film-links); b) Moore is not an "obscure comics writer" (unless there's a pause between the two - "Obscure" and "comics writer" is fair enough, if mildly debatable; but not "obscure comics writer") and will be certainly in the public eye more come the Watchmen film; c) His works are, I would suggest, more widely known. Gaiman (in comics) is Sandman. Moore is Watchmen, V for Vendetta, From Hell, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, and more..
Plus, many of Moore's shorter runs have been collected and are inherently notable in and of themselves: his primary GLC story underpins a current big event, for example.
As for the overlap, even taking into account that some "geek" games are reasonably popular, at the other end you have Tolstoy, Chaplain and the Popes at the lower end, too, so I don't think that "least popular" really applies as a criticism. |
