The top of the chart there is often debated because of U(#1)'s ineligible players in 1980. Fun quiz though!

Indiana not too shabby with 5 Championships in 8 tries.

Nice quiz. Got 20 on my first try. Some nice surprises in there as well.

Please readjust Michigan to four. They cheated to get two of them and have since vacated those games.

To adjust for the vacated appearances the numbers should be: Michigan with 4, Ohio State with 9, and UCLA with 17. If you don't change the numbers, maybe put a star to indicate that some of the appearances were later vacated?

Spoiler: OSU doesn't work for Ohio State. I get it, but that just seems like on of the ones that should work.

24/24 with 55 seconds to go. It was a rush thinking of the last one. @ElDavo: That's because OSU could also work for Oklahoma State and they probably don't want that.

SPOILER: oklahoma doesn't work because there are two oklahoma teams on the board. if you simply type in the school nickname you'll get the point. OSU doesn't work for the same reason: there's two of them! now if only i'd guessed all the schools i considered. never overthink silly quizzes...

I was surprised to not see Villanova on there considering they are 9th all-time in NCAA appearances.

have these been updated to reflect this year's appearances? Just curious. I only ask because I thought one of the finalists this year is making their fourth appearance (unless I'm counting wrong), which led to a small bit of confusion on my part.

@MattJ: Yes, these totals have been updated for the 2009 tournament. Villanova is the team making its 4th appearance in the Final Four. UNC is making its 18th, Michigan State its 7th, and UConn its 3rd appearance.

Blanked on the Big 12 - shocking since I'm a KU fan. Missed K-State & Okey State. Never would've guessed Utah. 22/25.

I typed in "Kansas st", "Ohio st", "Michigan st", and "Oklahoma st" and none were accepted. Usually that's how it's accepted on other quizzes, and since those were the only ones I "missed", I gave myself a 100. It really should accept "st" for state.
