Why does this game require first and last names for 3 of them? I guess the two with the same last name I can kind of understand needing to differentiate, but i guess Abdul-Jabbar and it wouldn't take it.

I tried that, too. I can't understand why that is.

yeah that was weird. understandable with the Malone's, but with Kareem it just doesn't make sense

It accepts just Jabbar...and it technically should take Alcinder, since he won his first MVP before changing his name.

its not acceptable when you type only last names for all of them and then you keep typing malon and cant understand why its not going

It wouldn't take Abdul-Jabbar. That's wrong.

I, also, was unable to get the Malones and Kareem, who I tried as both Alcindor and Abdul-Jabbar.

i think it should accept malone...all the other quizzes accept it and hence it would be a little more consistent if even this one did...

The team thing is dubious. Several of Abdul-Jabbar's MVP's were won on Milwaukee, and two of Moses Malone's three were at Houston, no? For players who won on multiple teams, it should list both teams. (Chamberlain also won for two different Philadelphia franchises, but I guess that works out alright).

i'm so used to being allowed to just give the last name for everybody i looked past the instructions and didn't specify Karl and Moses, even though I managed to think of both of them separately.

Also Moses won his first two MVPs with Houston and only the third with Philly so Houston/Philadelphia would be more appropriate.

the quiz would be better/harder if instead of giving the city name - it gave the years. Also to eliminate the last name problem you should have to put the right answer in the right box. Also 5 minutes for this quiz is way too long A better quiz would be multiple MVP's from the 4 major sports (although if they did one without hockey I'd be cool with that)

agree with pretty much everyone up there that it should take last names for all of them not just some

Malone? I realize it's two players, but the last name should count.

malone should definately count for both. Lucky for me that i read the instructions with enough time remaining that i got both of them. the abdul-jabbar thing was ridiculous.

got'm all... you must differentiate with malones... jabbar is just fine... Kareem wasnt called abdul-jabbar.. its usually just JABBAR... "down low to Jabbar(sometimes Kareem)and sky hooks for 2!"

@Mojorison: by the same token, it was also "malone drives to the hoop"

Too easy to miss the rule on "Malone". There's a reason those two are the 2nd and 3rd most-missed, despite being obvious answers.

1) Jabbar AND Abdul-Jabbar should be accepted. 2) Malone should be accepted for both Karl and Moses. 3) Players who won MVPs with two teams should have both those teams listed.

You should eliminate the cities. Pettit would have taken some thought without that clue. As it was, I finished in less than 1:30. If you want to give hints, I agree with the comment(s) that having the years would be better.

Not hard, not easy... Just kidding, really easy, I might've gotten them all even without saying what team they were on. By the way, who created this game?

Adding the cities made it too easy, although I have to admit that St. Louis kind of threw me for a loop at first.
