Thanks for this one. I know I requested it a while back, but I'd imagine other people wanted to see it. I got 20 almost immediately, but missed six of the first seven (all but that guy on the Bulls). I've gotta be honest- the Jazz player completely blindsided me. I wouldn't have thought of him in a million years, but considering he averaged 3.5 blocks per game in his career, it makes perfect sense that he won the award twice.

Yeah, that Jazz player was an absolute beast. He must be one of the scariest players to see waiting under the basket. I got 23/26, missing just the first two and the Pacer in '04.

Wow. I got all but one; the Spur in 85-86. I can't believe that neither Bruce Bowen or Joe Dumars ever won this award.

Great quiz. Got all but the first 2. Even after seeing his name, I still don't know who he is.

Definitely a great quiz! Got all 26, getting Alvin Robertson with about 10 seconds to spare.

Buddha...Sidney Moncrief was part of the great Bucks teams in the mid-80s along with Marques Johnson (and coached by Don Nelson). But they could never get past the Celtics or the 76ers to reach the finals.

23/26, missed the Pistons player(!) and the Supersonics player in 95-96. Now I feel dumb after seeing it.

23/26 No Moncrief, no Robertson. Almost forgot MJ, never would have been able to forgive myself. I forgot that he got it so long ago. What a season, 37 a game, MVP, DPOY. God in sneakers, as Larry Bird would say.

Where is paper clip at when you're butchering names on this game. After about the 5th try I wish he would pop up and say "Looks like you're trying to spell Mutombo" Oh yeah paper clip, what if I was just saying how much I like to mambo?

Got 'em all. The teams are the real giveaway. Without the teams, I would have probably only got about 10 or so. I seem to recall only 4 people very getting quadruple doubles but I can only recall Alvin Robertson, Hakeem and the Admiral (all of whom are represented here). Am I wrong? Is there another one or did I imagine him?

Vernon: The fourth quadruple-double guy is Nate Thurmond.

Got 'em all except for Robertson and Moncrief, which are the two most obscure answers according to the current statistics. It's incredible to think that Wallace has won the award four times. Why's someone else wearing his number with the Pistons, now? For the Jazz, I answered Malone and Stockton before getting Eaton. I named Kenyon Martin of the Nuggets before getting Camby, and Isiah Thomas and Joe Dumars of the Pistons before settling on Rodman. (I also typed "O'Neal" for the Heat before I got Mourning, even though O'Neal was clearly with the Lakers at that time. D'oh!)

Sad that "Bucks player" is the most missed, he's easily one of the top 5 perimeter defenders of all time.

I also feel like this would have been more fun without the teams listed. Otherwise, nice job ... a Sporcle no-brainer.

Got 'em all in 36 seconds! A big reason for that, though, is that I've contributed 2 quizzes, one of them being "Name all the All-Defensive Players who scored less than 10 ppg the same season", so I had a leg up.

Not sure if that's a joke, but Artest wasn't "Metta World Peace" when he won the award. Its unlikely he'll ever win one again, so I don't believe we'll be seeing "Metta World Peace" as a DPOY.
