shoked that gordon is leading the bulls he seems too young. I tried jordan even though it told me not to. I would have bet good money that it was a 90's bulls player

All Gordon really can do is hit 3s. Fairly limited every other way. Interesting that Vernon "Mad Max" Maxwell hit more threes than Kenny Smith or Cassell for the Rockets. That as a pretty nice threesome there.

Wow, I am very surprised Gordon has it for the bulls. Over Jordan, Pippen, or Kerr. Crazy.

26/30 + bonus for Durant. Can't believe I missed Majerle. Never would have guessed Piatkowski, Adams or Peeler in a million years. That's why I love the team and alphabet leader quizzes. They really make you dig deep.

Los Angeles Clippers--Eric Piatkowski. That just about sums it up for the Clippers, doesn't it?

@JohnJF: You bite your tongue! It isn't The Polish Riffle's fault that the Clippers suck. He is still a baller. GO BIG RED!! Also, I tried typing Ainge thinking he might be up there for the Suns and Celtics and all I got was a-i-... and then it gave me Allen Iverson. AI is all I need? I'm going to try putting in just initials for everything now.

@dtownstomp: Reggie Miller's record isn't anywhere close to unbreakable. It will almost certainly be broken by Ray Allen in the next 2 seasons, barring retirement or serious injury.

So surprised to see "Mad Max" on here for Houston. I just really thought someone else would've taken over from him by now.

Why even include Seattle's old leader? The Thunder didn't retain any of the records, titles or retired jerseys when they moved

correct me if I'm wrong...didn't they move the 3-pt line up sometime in the mid 90s...might explain why we'd see some newer faces when expecting someone from an earlier period...

Kazbar is right. Part of the lawsuit that the city of Seattle filed against the NBA was for Seattle to keep all of the records, numbers, and title history, so that they could be put to the creation of another team.

@jim: basketball was invented in the usa, but we are not the only ones playing it. Notice the results, there are a couple non-americans on the list. Let's just say that people tend to appreciate the sports they grew up with. I grew up playing basketball, baseball, and American football. That doesn't make me any better or worse than those that grew playing "true" football or rugby. There are many more people in the USA than in the UK. The quizzes are probably to Eurocentric based on demographics. That doesn't make it boring, it is just what it is. I, personally, enjoy the site. I am all for having a quiz that lists the all time Cricket players even though I do not understand the sport. Everyone should just appreciate the positives of each quiz and not be so nit picky.

Mad Max got 52 once, 30 in the fourth quarter, mostly on three's. Look it up, highest scoring quarters of all time and Vernon ranks in the top 5. He may be crazy, but when he was on, he was on fire. I can't believe Dale Ellis isn't here, Rashard beats him out for the Sonics, I'll have to check it, Dale's still in the top ten all time.

BenjSKs, the 3-point line was moved up for about 2 or 3 seasons in the mid-'90s, but it was then moved back where it had been. I don't think that has much to do with why more recent players are on the list. The number of three-pointers taken has steadily increased since it was introduced to the league. There are more made now than in the '90s, and many many more than in the '80s.
