Missed the thin yellow one. I assumed those would go with the grey bar at the top.

Got 6 right. I'm convinced that chocolate is a food group. How could something so delicious be bad for you?

It was always called fats. not all fats are oil but some oil are fats! Otherwise I would have gotten them all! darn it.

Are Americans really not able to use the terms 'protein' or 'dairy'?

shouldn't it accept cereals for grains? especially if it accepts fish for oils. just a thought.

I typed in excercise and it was denied. That should be an acceptable alternative for physical activity. I got the five at the bottom as well as excercise but missed the other two. What are discretionary calories? The guy walking up the stairs was a big hint for excercise.

@cocky: it is an alternative. you added an extra 'c'.

I go through and rate up all the comments that have been rated down and rate down all the comments that are rated up because........ the whole rating system is ignorant anyway. What is this high school again?

Littlegoldwoman, I have been rating down comments up as well (unless they are down for a good reason.) Some people seem to be very heavy handed with the down arrow. I think it would be better if the ratings were removed (but keep the report button of course.)

7/8. I think fat or fats should have counted for oils. Especially if the commenter above is right that fish is counted for oils.

Got 7/8. I used to work down the hall from the people who put this together so I'm a bit embarrassed that I didn't get them all.

Exactly how much milk is every American expected to drink? Is your dairy industry in trouble?

I think that both fats and oils should count, because they are the same type of molecule, they are both lipids. The only difference is that they are classified as oils if they are liquids at 25 Celsius, and fats if solid at the same temperature. In either case, their just different combinations of the same fatty-acid monomers.
