| Agree with everyone! Got these all easily. Some of the terms Fliss mentioned were too obscure for an average musician, but what about other common notation like mezzoforte, pianoforte, marcato, sforzando, fermato, accelerando, triplet, dotted half/quarter note, grace note, slur (legato), coda, da capo, subito, ritardando, glissando, trill, etc...
Or general parts of sheet music, like (grand) staff, measure, interval, ledger line, key/time signature, accidentals, common/cut time, tempo, dynamics, (major/minor) scale, arpeggio... Yeah, you can take the geek out of the band, but you can't take the band out of the geek. :) |
