ellen degeneres is not funny... calling her a comedian is like putting WNBA quizzes in the sports section.

Let's face facts: I created this quiz solely to get Sporcle's Twitter numbers up. (Not really.) I hope everyone likes this one- I thought it was a pretty cool topic. And great job by the Sporcle gods on updating this thing- when I created it a few days ago, 50 Cent was in the top 25... not that I'm sad he fell off the list. And @Mike, I don't think it's possible to care about *nobody* on the list. Personally, I have no interest in Britney or Ellen or Coldplay, but Shaq is my favorite athlete, and I read the Times every day.

Is there any coincidence that this list reads exactly like a similar list I drew up of entitled 'douches I hope fall off the face of the Earth'? hmmm.

@jack. stephen fry has over half a million followers, but not enough to make the list. I think maybe he is the highest UK "followee". I certainly tried him first as I remember the news story!

I've thought about making a Twitter account with the sole purpose of documenting me going to the bathroom. You get the update before, after, and once in a while as a special treat, during.
Too bad that I'm so apathetic towards Twitter that I can't even be bothered to make a joke/gimmick account.

To be honest, I'm with you, Impaler. (Not about the pooping thing, though actually, my friend IMed me yesterday to say he was thinking of doing just that.) I'm completely indifferent about Twitter- I have an account so I can follow a few people, but I've never posted a tweet, and I'm never going to. I made the quiz because I thought it was an interesting topic, not because it was a topic I legitimately cared about.

Only one I knew was Lance Armstrong, and that's only because they mentioned it every day during the Giro d'Italia. Twitter is incredibly pointless.
