I think I would be satisfied with any quiz involving geography. Still though, keep 'em coming. Love the quiz

Even though I can get 100% on the countries of the world quiz, I always struggle with mental blocks on these types of things. Still a fun quiz though, I like these A-Z ones.

Democratic Republic of Congo is sure a long name to remember in the only letter you made to get stuck

@joe, according to Wikipedia at least, South Korea has around 48 million. So it's close.

Time was very fast, but it made the quiz more fun that way I think. And that's what I will use as my excuse for guessing the country of Kentucky not once, but twice.

@Joe: According to the source, South Korea is in second place for the "s" countries by about half a million (48.5 million)

@unidentifiedkiwi: It also puts South Africa at 47,900,000, about 400,000 less. I suppose it all depends on who is doing the estimating.

@Victor2k: I'm utterly embarrassed at missing Dem Rep of Congo when I realized it no longer qualified for the "Z" list. I also missed Ethiopia--I kept typing Egypt.

I am definitely a Sporcle vet. Not only did I know Democratic Republic of the Congo right away, but I even used the 'DRC' acronym. I don't even know myself anymore..

i kept telling myself that libya must be that answer for l, but, as with many other letters, it just barely missed the cut. whats more, i couldn't make myself type in the right answer because, "nah, it can't be right"

Missed A, H, and L. Somehow I forgot A. Kept thinking I must be spelling Honduras wrong. And though L had to be Libya or Lebanon.

If this quiz existed a bit over 12 years ago, it could have used Western Samoa as the 'W' answer. And maybe some time in the future Western Sahara will be a nation.
